Having recently retired and having purchased various items of furniture I can honestly say that having purchased leather sofas and oak dining furniture from Johnathon at Progressive furnishings was the most pleasurable experience both in quality of service and furniture that we have had.The delivery men were very polite and assembled furniture with care taking all packaging away leaving myself and wife to enjoy our purchases.I cannot recommend this fine local company highly enough.My thanks to all at progressive as your attention to customer service is first class.Regards to allMartin Powers

Would never go anywhere else for my sofas and armchairs, they are quality products far better than DFS or SCS ! Everything in progressive furnishings is unique and quality. The service in store is so personal and professional. The delivery is very quick and everything is set up and checked to be working before they leave you. Nothing is to much trouble for this company and its staff. Once you have brought from here you will never go anywhere else !

What a fabulous shop!! This shop is like an Aladdin’s cave, full of quality furniture and accessories. The staff are lovely and so knowledgeable, helpful and give you the time and space to come to your own decisions. Delivery of my furniture was prompt and efficient. We bought our dining set from Progressive Furnishings just before Christmas and are highly impressed with the quality and the service that we received. I visited the shop a few times to view different items as we were debating table style and size and on all occasions I found James & Johnathon to be very helpful and informative. We were over the moon with our dining set so we also purchased a matching side table and coffee table from the same range. I would highly recommend a visit to their showroom if you are in the market for dining, living room or bedroom furniture.

My large 4 seater sofa bed was delivered this morningIt's just gorgeous🥰🤩 so much so I went back to the shop and ordered a chair to matchThe two young men who delivered it were just great, they had to take my back door off to access the house as it was so big ,the door was a very heavy composite door and they struggled but managed it. They then laid out the sofa and showed me how the bed pulls out too ,very helpfull polite young men and the shop staff and owner are so friendly and helpful top marks from me

Excellent service. Called into the shop on a Tuesday, had a browse around the settee section, was approached by James, who was very informative and not pushy at all. We ordered 2 no settees, delivered 4 days later on the Saturday by 2 no friendly lads, we had a 2 hour slot from 2 to 4pm. They arrived at 2.15pm, and assembled within 15 minutes. We would certainly recommend this shop. Once again great service.

1st class service staff are really friendly and helpful and will bend over backwards to help you. I purchased 3 beds all are stunning and excellent quality (beware of cheaper copies elsewhere) they even made one of the headboards bespoke for me as I needed it lower. I had to postpone delivery of the beds 3 times and this was never a problem they just held my goods in their warehouse for me. The young men who delivered the beds were brilliant and took a lot of care in my home and with the beds.I can only highly recommend this company I cannot fault anything.Nice to actually receive such good service.

3rd time of purchasing from this store. This purchase was a dining set. Having made the purchase for a new house, it fell through, and then the house purchase after that took forever too. The team were really understanding and supportive in holding off the delivery accordingly. Very grateful for that! Once finally delivered, it's a lovely furniture set and I'd be happy to shop here again.Thr friendly personal touch in sales is nice to see still in existence.

Excellent service in difficult times,We ordered 2 x 2 seater Settees and due to covid the delivery time was badly effected.This wasn't an issue as we where offered a temporary loan settee until ours arrived.We now have our new settees excellent quality at a good price.You wouldn't get this sort of personal service from any other retailer.Very happy and will be back for more furniture in the near future

We ordered two large oak wardrobes and two matching chest of drawers and the quality of the furniture is impeccable and looks fantastic.The spaces where the wardrobes sit are unusual sizes due to our chimney breast, we explained this issue to the guys at Progressive Furnishings and they found us the perfect sized furniture.The two men that delivered and assembled the set were extremely professional, mindful of not letting my cats out and offered me aftercare advise when I enquired. They were super friendly and assembled the whole lot in about 1.5 hours which was impressive!Can’t recommend this place enough.

I recently ordered a leather recliner chair which was being made in Italy. Yes lockdown has made it more difficult for everyone because if Italy wasn’t in lockdown then we were leaving parts/materials getting to suppliers much longer. This said it’s no ones fault - this little company went over and beyond their customer services in very difficult times. Would we have got this with a big company? I’m absolutely assured the answer would be no. When it came, they carefully delivered, put it together and popped it in room of choice. The chair is of excellent build and quality but I thk you can see from either their showroom (when open again) and their website that this isn’t a company that deals with things produced on a mass scale. No it’s individuality, quality of products and that extra step to put the customer first makes this shop like finding a little goldmine. Pls let’s support our little shops who must have had a very difficult time during lockdown.

Recently purchased a solid oak dining table and chairs using the website, normally we would always go and view the items before purchasing but after speaking to the staff on the phone to clarify a few questions we had (numerous times!) We decided to take the plunge! Can't recommend these guys enough, from start to finish nothing was too much trouble and the service was second to none.
