60 Minute Makeover

to join the on-site team and provide the lucky home owners with our excellent quality furniture.
60 Minute Makeover (2008)
The information below was an article featured in the The Chad Mansfield Newspaper:
Progressive Furnishings of Forest Town, Mansfield was invited to take part in the hit television show 60 Minute Makeover after one of its ranges attracted the eye of the show’s resident designer.
The show airs on ITV1 every weekday in the afternoons and was fronted by former Hollyoaks and The Games star Terri Dwyer along with Big Brother winner Craig Phillips and interior designer Richard Randall.
The team were in the area to transform the home of the lucky viewer Marian Ayers, of Sutton-In-Ashfield, in just one hour.
When Richard was surfing the internet looking for furniture suitable for the project, he came across the website of Progressive Furnishings, based in Forest Town, Mansfield (opposite the ASDA superstore).
Jonathan was only too pleased to help when he was contacted by Richard’s personal assistant to place the order.
The 60 Minute Makeover team were sprucing up Marian’s kitchen, bedrooms, dining and living room.
Progressive Furnishings provided a range of different furniture for the dining & living room: including an extending table, six cream leather chairs, a sideboard, console table and coffee table.
After Progressive Furnishings delivered, installed & removed the packaging from site, their involvement in the show did not end there.
A producer asked both Jonathan and Chris to roll up their sleeves and get involved in the hard work of making over the house to the tight time scale.
Jonathan said “It was a once in a life time experience and we really enjoyed mucking in with the cast and crew.”
Progressive Furnishings sell a wide variety of leather & upholstered sofas and living, dining, bedroom and occasional furniture to suit everyone’s taste and pocket. They buy directly from the importers all over the world to keep their prices low.
The episode of 60 Minute Makeover featuring Progressive Furnishings was shown on ITV, April 2008, and has been shown many times since”
