The Edge Sculpture Lion Cub is another new addition to the Edge Sculpture range. This sculpture is a playful and adorable piece of art. This sculpture depicts a lion cub in a seated position, with a mischievous expression on its face, as if it is about to pounce on its prey or playfully tease its siblings. The Lion cub sculpture is finished in colours that closely resemble those of the actual King of the Jungle, adding to its lifelike appearance. As with all Edge Sculptures, this piece is handcrafted with great attention to detail, from the texture of the fur to the contours of the face, making it a truly remarkable work of art. It would be an ideal addition to any space, bringing a touch of wildness and warmth to the surroundings. It would make a display all by itself or add a touch of fun to a wildlife display which could include the Edge Sculpture, White Lion Cub, Tiger Cub or the even the majestic Lion Bust.

How the Lion Cubis made

The original piece is moulded and given life from clay that is then expertly encapsulated in rubber to produce the parent mould.

Each piece is sculpted in clay, which allows the creation of pieces that deliver both a dynamic and organic feel.  The team at Edge then develop both the cases and moulds which ensure the faithful reproduction of the original clay sculpture in a special blend of marble stone castings.

The finishing touch is the skilful application of hand-painting with the end result being a statement piece and talking point for anyone’s home or business!
