Cast in the same marble-based stone used across the Edge range, and painted with the same attention to texture and tonal realism, this piece is a flawless miniature version of what might usually be a much larger statement work.

The sculptor has made some subtle adjustments to accommodate the smaller scale, ensuring structural integrity and visual fidelity, without losing the power, presence, or emotional warmth of the original subject. About the Orangutan and its young

Of all the great apes, orangutans are known for the incredible bond between mother and child. A baby is born completely dependent, clinging to its mother as she moves through the trees, feeding exclusively on her milk for the first years of life.
