This new highly realistic Lioness bust, Yuna, is an actual real life big cat now being taken care of in The Big Cat Sanctuary in Kent. She was rescued from extreme danger in the Ukraine.

From every sale, £22.50 will be donated to The Big Cat Sanctuary to help with their ongoing work.

A Symbol of Strength and Survival

Yuna is an extraordinary new addition to the Edge Sculpture collection — a striking real life lioness whose story embodies courage, resilience, and hope. Rescued from the devastation of war in Ukraine, Yuna now lives safely at The Big Cat Sanctuary in Kent, where she continues to inspire everyone who meets her.

Created in close collaboration with The Big Cat Sanctuary, this sculpture captures Yuna’s noble spirit and remarkable journey. A portion of the proceeds from every sale will be donated to the Sanctuary’s Big Cats in Crisis campaign, helping to fund their vital work in rescuing and caring for endangered big cats from around the world.

Though not a limited edition, each Yuna sculpture is individually signed by sculptor Matt Buckley and numbered in a continuous sequence. Every piece also comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity, ensuring its place as part of this meaningful collaboration.

Every piece is conceived and sculpted in England by artist Matt Buckley at his Shropshire studio. Rather than focusing on a single subject, the collection explores style, texture, and movement, creating sculptures that are as dynamic as they are beautiful.

Each design begins as a hand-sculpted clay original, capturing the raw energy and character of the subject. From there, bespoke moulds are created to reproduce every subtle detail using a unique blend of marble stone casting.

Finally, each sculpture is meticulously hand-painted, bringing the piece to life with colour and texture — resulting in a true statement artwork destined to spark conversation in any home.
