The Edge Sculpture Highland Cow White is a new addition to the Edge Sculpture range for Autumn 2023. This new sculpture is a striking and realistic representation of the iconic Scottish Highland cattle breed but with the lesser-known white coat. This new white Highland Cow makes a trio of these stunning creatures along with the Black Highland Cow and the Red Highland Cow, these sculptures would make an impressive display together or make a statement all on their own.

This exquisite sculpture offers a fresh perspective on the iconic Scottish Highland cattle breed by showcasing their unique white coat. Following the successful launches of the Red Highland Cow last year and the Black Highland Cow earlier this year, you now have the opportunity to choose your favourite colour or create a captivating display with two or even all three Highland Cows.

White Highland cattle, also known as Scottish Highland cattle, are renowned for their hardiness and hail from the rugged Scottish Highlands. They are instantly recognizable by their lengthy, shaggy white fur and impressive curved horns, which can span up to an impressive 6 feet.

How this sculpture is made

The original piece is moulded and given life from clay that is then expertly encapsulated in rubber to produce the parent mould.

Each piece is sculpted in clay, which allows the creation of pieces that deliver both a dynamic and organic feel.  The team at Edge then developed both the cases and moulds which ensure the faithful reproduction of the original clay sculpture in a special blend of marble stone castings.

The finishing touch is the skilful application of hand-painting with the end result being a statement piece and talking point for anyone’s home or business!
