The Edge Sculpture Gorilla Figure White is dominant addition to our Primates range of Edge Sculptures. Gorillas are fascinating animals that live in the forests of central Africa, and they are known for their impressive strength and intelligence. They usually have black hair and distinct features, such as the reddish-brown patch of hair on the forehead of western lowland gorillas. However, the latest Edge Gorilla is depicted in white. White Gorillas are extremely rare with only one ever being found in the wild who was named Snowflake”.

The Edge Gorilla Figure white is a powerful and striking representation of this magnificent animal. The sculpture depicts an adult gorilla in a seated position, with a serious expression on its face, as if it is ready to pounce to defend its family group. The Edge Gorilla is incredibly lifelike, with intricate details such as the texture of the fur and the contours of the face and body. The gorilla’s muscular build, broad shoulders, and impressive size convey a sense of strength and dominance, making it clear that this animal is in charge. How the Gorilla is made

The original piece is moulded and given life from clay that is then expertly encapsulated in rubber to produce the parent mould.

Each piece is sculpted in clay, which allows the creation of pieces that deliver both a dynamic and organic feel.  The team at Edge then develop both the cases and moulds which ensure the faithful reproduction of the original clay sculpture in a special blend of marble stone castings.

The finishing touch is the skilful application of hand-painting with the end result being a statement piece and talking point for anyone’s home or business!
