This light oak 2 door wardrobe is part of our Hardwick Light Oak which is our latest range of hand-crafted furniture built with sturdy American Oak. It is designed in a traditional 18th century styling with a nod to the ever-popular clean simplicity of the shaker style. This furniture has a clean-lined design with fewer rustic touches than other country style ranges and will suit any environment including a modern home, a traditional house or period property. Our Hardwick Wardrobes are solidly made and come in sections so your new wardrobe can be assembled easily in your room of choice.

The Hardwick Light Oak single wardrobe is full of natural character and provides an abundance of storage. Behind the double doors, it has a full height (2000mm) hanging area, perfect for long coats or dresses. The deep drawer in the base is ideal for bulky sweaters and sweatshirts, shoes or anything you need to store away. The drawer bases are solid oak with wooden drawer runners so they will not buckle under any amount of weight or become difficult to open.

The panelled wardrobe doors have a feel of ‘shaker’ styling about them and combined with the slim tapered legs, the Hardwick Oak 2 door wardrobe is a piece of furniture to be treasured.

At just over a metre wide this wardrobe provides ample storage space in a single bedroom. It can also be paired with the Hardwick triple wardrobe for additional storage for a couple sharing a room or for people who have lots of clothes in their collection.  They are exactly the same height so will look perfect if placed on a wall alongside each other.

Craftsman Made Furniture

Our Hardwick range is craftsmen made using traditional joinery methods such as dovetail joints and drawer sliders which are made by carving a channel in the drawer. This type of drawer glides open effortlessly to gain easy access which is so important in a big deep drawer such as this one. This is the best type of drawer slider as there is nothing to break or wear out as there is with a metal sliding mechanism. Harwick Oak furniture is lacquered so cleaning is as easy, just wipe clean with a damp, lint-free cloth to keep it in tip-top condition.
