This light oak 2 over 3 Chest of Drawers is part of our Hardwick Light Oak range which is our latest collection of hand-crafted furniture built using sturdy American Oak. It is designed in a traditional 18th century styling with a nod to the ever-popular clean simplicity of the shaker style. This furniture has a clean-lined design with fewer rustic touches than other country-style ranges and will suit any environment from a new build modern home, an apartment to a traditional house or period property. The tapered legs give the chest a stylish and elegant look and combined with the light colour of the oak, will not overpower or dominate a room.  The round pewter effect handles provide a country touch to the styling whilst the overall look is still modern and on-trend.

The Harwick Light Oak 2 over 3 Chest of Drawers is full of natural character and provides an abundance of storage in the five drawers.  It has three full width drawers with two half width drawers at the top of the chest. The drawer bases are solid oak with wooden drawer runners so they will not buckle under any amount of weight or become difficult to open. These drawers are ideal for storing any of your clothes from t-shirts to bulky sweaters and sweatshirts.

Although traditionally thought of as bedroom furniture, this chest of drawers provides stylish storage for a lounge or dining room. It would also be ideal for hallways for storing all the usual clutter that can make a hallway untidy such as keys, sunglasses, bags, umbrellas or hats and scarves.

Craftsman Made Furniture

Our Hardwick range is craftsmen made using traditional joinery methods such as dovetail joints and drawer sliders which are made by carving a channel in the drawer. This type of drawer glides open effortlessly to gain easy access which is so important in a chest of drawers such as this. This is the best type of drawer slider as there is nothing to break or wear out as there is with a metal sliding mechanism. Harwick Oak furniture is lacquered so cleaning is as easy, just wipe clean with a damp, lint-free cloth to keep it in tip-top condition.
