About the Golden Eagle

Golden eagles are among the largest birds of prey in the Northern Hemisphere, known for their impressive wingspan and powerful hunting skills. They soar at great heights, using exceptional vision to locate prey, before diving at incredible speeds to capture it with their strong talons. Unlike bald eagles, golden eagles have rich brown plumage with lighter golden tones on the head and neck, which gives them their name. They are highly territorial and build large nests on cliffs or in tall trees, often returning to the same site year after year. In many cultures, the golden eagle is a symbol of courage and strength, qualities reflected in the striking design of this sculpture.
