Description

Miniature Star Gazing Hare

A New Piece in the Edge Sculpture Miniature Range

The hare has long been admired as a symbol of freedom, resilience and the changing seasons. With its powerful legs, alert ears and remarkable speed, it has become one of Britain’s most iconic countryside animals, often spotted bounding across open fields at dawn or dusk.

The new Miniature Star Gazing Hare captures a quieter, more thoughtful moment. Looking skyward with a gentle, inquisitive expression, this beautifully sculpted piece reflects the hare’s curious and watchful nature, creating a sculpture that is both elegant and full of character.

Designed by renowned British sculptor Matt Buckley, every Edge Sculpture begins life as an original hand-sculpted clay model before being cast in a specially developed marble stone blend. Each miniature is then individually hand-painted by skilled artists, ensuring every detail is beautifully finished.

Compact yet instantly recognisable, the new Miniature Star Gazing Hare is a wonderful gift for wildlife lovers and collectors alike, bringing the distinctive artistry of the Edge Sculpture collection into any home.

Step into the distinctive world of Edge Sculpture Miniatures

Edge Sculpture Miniatures carry forward the bold style of Matt Buckley’s full-scale originals while offering the convenience of a smaller format. Each piece is cast in the same marble-based stone material, then hand painted to highlight depth, tone, and texture. Advances in sculpting techniques have made it possible to reproduce intricate details at this reduced size, while careful adjustments ensure the sculpture remains faithful to the spirit of the original. Presented in a matt black box with a silver foil Edge logo, the Miniature Golden Eagle Bust is both a highly collectable piece and a unique gift.
